The Word of God
Does Not Return Void
— Isaiah 55:11
Since 1979, Ken Bortz — known to many as Ken the Sower — has memorized and powerfully dramatized over 22 books of the Bible, bringing the living Word to churches across America. Alongside him, his wife Teri faithfully serves as his administrator, making this ministry possible. Together they serve as an integral part of Wordsower International with a heart to see lives transformed by Scripture.
"So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please."
Isaiah 55:11
About the Ministry
Meet Ken the Sower
Since 1979, Ken Bortz has devoted his life to proclaiming the unchanging Word of God. With over 22 books of the Bible memorized in full — and large portions of many others — Ken brings Scripture off the page and into the room, where it can breathe, convict, and heal.
Walking faithfully beside him is his wife Teri, who serves as his administrator and steady support — coordinating bookings, travel, and the countless details that make this ministry possible.
Ken serves as an integral part of Wordsower International, equipping believers and quickening churches with the power of God's own words.

Featured Presentation
The Throne Room
Revelation, Chapters 1 – 5
Ken's most beloved presentation transports congregations into the very throne room of Heaven. With reverence, fire, and the precise words of John the Revelator, Ken invites listeners to behold the Lamb who was slain — and the One who sits upon the throne. It is an encounter, not a performance.
